People are rightly skeptical when I say that I speak at conferences on ‘Business Lessons From Comedy.’ OK, they say, maybe there is a correlation between keeping a customer happy and keeping an audience happy. Maybe there is something about being nice to bookers and that could be read as maintaining good client relations. Possibly even there is something to be said about branding. But what of the big story? The stuff of boardrooms and the FTSE100? What would I say if George Osborne were in the audience?
